The Boys and Girls Club of East Austin provides programs and services that promote and enhance the development of children by instilling a sense of self worth and creating a lovable family environment. Boys and Girls Club members are between the ages of 6 and 18 and enjoy after-school tutoring, sports leagues, as well as lots of fun recreational activities.
Epsilon Beta has an ongoing relationship with the Boys and Girls Club. Members assist club coordinators with activities and supervision of the children. With money raised through the Thanks-through-Giving project, EB was able to purchase and donate a complete Thanksgiving Dinner to a well deserved 25 families selected by the B&G Club. Delta has also organized several special projects and activities for club members. |

The Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) is a non-profit organization that serves as a clearinghouse by receiving and storing truckloads of donated food and other grocery products. CAFB distributes the food and grocery products in manageable quantities to human and social service agencies that help people in need.
Epsilon Beta plays a primary role in the renovating steps of recovered items by searching for damaged or safe distributable items. Delta has also organized several food drives that benefited the CAFB. This past November, over 125 lbs of food was collected through the Trick or Treat for Cans Service Project and donated to the food bank. |

The River City Youth Foundation's (RCYF) provides a variety of opportunities for Austin's youth. Services include tutoring, counseling, mentoring, job/leadership training, and participation in community service and community beautification.
Epsilon Beta members provide programming assistance and special projects. Through the ThanksthroughGiving Project, we were able to donate over 75 full Thanksgiving meals and more than $500 worth of Toys for RCYF's Christmas program. Epsilon Beta is currently working with the foundation to extend the mentorship program. |

Seek And Say is an area daycare center that a provides a caring environment for Austin area youth in ages ranging from infants to toddlers. Activities at Seek And Say vary from interacting with other youths, developing reading skills, or participating in various subject areas such as science and arts.
Epsilon Beta currently visits Seek And Say and assists the coordinators of the facilities by volunteering on various days throughout the year and tending to any special needs of the establishment. |

Austin’s Children’s Hospital tends to the needs of sick children of all case scenarios. This area hospital helps strengthen each patient’s physical and mental health by surrounding him or her in a warm environment.
The members of Epsilon Beta also want to make the children who are ill feel comfortable while at Austin’s Children’s Hospital. The members interact with the kids via activities such as face painting, arts and craft, and interpersonal communication. |

Eastside Story is an educational program that provides emerging technology opportunities to children and their families attending school in East and Northeast Austin. Austin’s Eastside Story’s mission is to serve as a catalyst for growth and development by bringing together people, money and resources to provide technology training and educational children and their families.
Epsilon Beta provides assistance with this establishment by helping the students with school assignments, developing reading and writing skills and interaction with the kids during social activities. |

| Maggie Johnson Nursing Center |

Maggie Johnson’s Nursing Center is a very active program with the help of volunteers that assist te elderly. The Center assists the elderly with special circumstances and is successful through the effort of the volunteers and directors. The program consists of arts/crafts; games; sing-a-longs; religious services; bus trips to local sites, churches and shopping; and various entertainments. Residents take active roles in planning events such as family bar-b-ques, fund raisers for activities and more. Families are strongly urged to get involved in the centers activities.
Epsilon Beta maintains an active role with Maggie Johnson’s Nursing Home by frequently visiting the center and participating in activities such as arts and crafts with the elderly. |

| Voter Registration Drive |

| Epsilon Beta seeks to have an impact on society by registering U.S. citizens to vote. The members continuously labor in the UT and Austin community in search of reaching their targeted number of registered voters. Epsilon Beta also gives opportunities to registered voters to become volunteer deputies who can also register people to vote. |

| A non-profit organization committed to providing education to those in need through mentorship and tutoring. Their mission is to ensure that children reach their potential through education, therapy and family support services. Epsilon Beta provides their services regularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays in hopes of helping to tutor those in need. |

Members of Epsilon Beta are also involved in various and ongoing individual service throughout the community. Many are mentors, tutors, team coaches, and regular volunteers with diverse agencies and non-profit organizations in Austin. |
